Hi and welcome, I’m Pat Maskrey, and I feel privileged to have been involved with
Holymoorside and District History Society since the very early days, being involved
with the film “Portrait of a Village”, before finally joining the Trustees in the
late 1990s, becoming Chairman some years later.
Born in Walton, I have had connections to Holymoorside all my life, and hope to pass
on my passion and memories to future generations, and appeal for photographs or artefacts
for us to archive and conserve, thus continuing our mission.
We continue to meet most months with a variety of speakers – take a look at our current
Programme (click ‘Programme’ on menu bar above to open page). Everyone is welcome
as there is no formal membership, but you will be assured of a warm and friendly
evening.
We very much appreciate your continuing support and look forward to many more historic
years.
